Before your fall, you used to live openly and freely for God. Everything you touched turned to gold. You were able to praise freely, smile freely, and expect great and mighty things in your life. God would give you the desires of your heart, but because you have allowed the thoughts of the world to take over your soul – you feel guilt, shame, and no longer possess the same zeal for God.
Count It All Joy
If you have fallen, know that you can get up! James 1:2-3 states, “Count all joy when you fall into divers temptations. Knowing this that the trying of your faith worketh patience!” The word also says release yourself from whatever has held you captive for so long! Ask God, for his forgiveness, and recall his words that a just man falleth seven times, but rises up again (Proverbs 24:16)! You have the power to get back up and live the full and abundant life he has called you to live.
Win the War
Begin to declare and decree over your life that strongholds are broken from your mind, body and soul. Stand on God’s word asking him to help you with this area of your life, recalling 1 Corinthians 10:13, “There is no temptation taken you but such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” We can truly rejoice, because God has already orchestrated a way out!
