3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.
It is important as a woman that we know the basic understanding of our bodies. We are all built differently and require different types of clothing, exercise and even foods to help maximize our bodies strengths. Once you have a general understanding of what you have and how to make it work for you, the beauty of who you are can shine forth and allow you to to excel even more in your daily lives.
1 Timothy 4:7-8
But have nothing to do with worldly fables fit only for old women. On the other hand, discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness; for bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come
Your body is special. God made no mistakes when he created you. I know going to the doctor can be daunting and down right scary at times. God has blessed many people with the gift of medicine and caring for others. These people are here to help you to maintain your body the way God designed it. Every so often you need to go to the doctor to get a check up for your physical health but you also need to go to God for a spiritual check up as well. Apart of taking care of your body in the physical is taking care of your body in the spirit realm as well. Check ups can have different meanings. When going to the doctor for a check up its only half of the process. The other half is checking up meaning looking up to the most high God high in the heavens for guidance not only in health issues but for life issues as well.
Sometimes, a spiritual check up can change the outcome of your life. It’s all about allowing God do what he does best and that’s to listen and love us. When you are able to successfully do both you will see God do things that you have never imagined.
Our bodies are temples given to us by God. Although we are only in them for a short time, God has put certain things in place to maintain them while we are here. Daily chores and responsibilities can take away from the time that can be dedicated to exercising. It seems daunting at times to keep it up year round. It appears to be only something that only fitness enthusiast can do consistently, but this is indeed a fallacy.
A few years ago, I was introduced to the concept of receiving assignments from God. Much to my dismay, I quickly discovered that when it came to an assignment from God you basically had no choice in receiving it. Of course you have free will to ignore it, but just because you ignore it doesn’t mean that it will go away. I realized when I begin asking God for attributes such as patience, humility and forgiveness toward others all types of people and uncomfortable situations initiated in my life.
